I am a personal chef, a mom of two, a little bit rock and roll, and a food activist.
Personally, I feel strongly that there are deep problems in the way that we eat today. I am concerned about what my children eat, and so I pay a lot of attention to what is happening in our food systems, far away and locally. I boldly call myself a locavore, which means I consider eating food grown nearby to be important, and I do my level best to earn that privilege.
Professionally, I provide personal cooking services in the Cambridge/Boston area. I do weekly food for some families, and parties for others. I endeavor to work with my clients to understand what they need to make them happy in their eating lives, and then I set up a system to make it happen.
